The winery is nestled in the heart of the Rheingau, or more specifically, in Oestrich. Andreas and Bernd Spreitzer have been following the family tradition since 1997. Their signature is unmistakable, bridging the gap between subtlety and concentration in their wines. Delicate, elegant and artfully subtle on the one hand and concentrated, compact and long-finished on the other. A balancing act!

Andreas about Bernd:

“As winery manager Bernd is also our commercial director. He’s the warm-hearted, calming factor in our winery. Without him, we wouldn’t be where we are today. Bernd is a keen and incisive taster. When he’s in the cellar he shows his greatest strength: he’s sober, precise, fastidious and, as such, his work is extremely accurate. When I come to the point that I’m completely satisfied with our latest collection of wines, he brings out the deciding quantum of quality. He’s truly persistent and without compromise. I’m very thankful for that!”

“Andi is open, straight forward and almost always in a good mood. He’s our cellar master and also our vineyard manager. He’s open to new ideas, he’s a trailblazer, takes on responsibility and is not shy to say what he thinks – he has a big heart. He’s the spokesperson of the winery, a master of communication, and the face and voice of the winery. His wine tastings are charming, entertaining, interesting. It’s simply great fun to work with him!”
